About the Sisters
The Three Sisters are precisely that - three sisters who have many creative interests to share.
Adrienne has had many artistic adventures. She spent some time doing hair design before making her way to the world of ballroom dance. Throughout all of this, making dresses was always a hobby to fall back on. She would often make her own clothes for holidays and folk festivals. Soon enough, friends and family started to request things for themselves - and not just clothing. After giving birth to her first two children, Adrienne decided to stay at home to raise them. That was when she decided to start her own company, Patches n Lil Patches. She has since received many requests for custom dresses, curtains, and bedroom sets.
Sarah is a freelance bass trombonist. With two great-grandmothers that were excellent bakers, and a mother who followed in their footsteps, Sarah picked up on the tradition as well. She is often hired by friends and family to bake gourmet sweets for parties and gatherings. Sarah is also a professional organizer, which is gradually becoming a successful side career for her. She is the heart of the marketing for all of Adrienne's handmade creations.
Victoria took what she could from both of her older sisters. She is, like Sarah, a freelance trombonist. She teaches private lessons to a few middle school and high school students on the side. Victoria was taught the art of embroidery at a young age by their Southern grandmother. She often stitched on vintage handkerchiefs, pillows, and bibs, which she sold through Patches n Lil Patches. Like both of her sisters, she developed an appreciation for both sides of the family, valuing both the rich Italian-American culture and the traditions of farm life in rural South Carolina. Besides her interest in music, Victoria has developed a love of cuisine because of her roots.
Sarah and Victoria eventually plan to expand the Three Sisters into a small cafe, in which they will offer delicious food alongside their own artistic creations and Adrienne's beautiful clothing.
